Downturn smile treatment targets the Depressor Anguli Oris muscles (also known as DAO's), which are responsible for pulling the corners of the mouth downward. Which can result in a downturned or sad-looking expression. By gently relaxing the DAO muscles, this treatment allows the corner of the mouth to lift subtly, creating a softer more positive and refreshed appearance.
